Trump: Iran 'not going to make the kind of deal that I think is necessary'
Loui Ridi, the Palestinian-American owner of a house Israeli settlers had besieged for over a week in the West Bank village of Qusra, has returned to the house after landing at Israel's Ben-Gurion Airport.
Earlier on Monday, Israeli settlers were seen roaming the village area after IDF soldiers didn't enforce the military order to remove the settlers from the Palestinian village. Last week, Israeli settlers set up an outpost in the yard of a house in the village, besieging several houses and attacking the village.
Israeli forces were filmed praying with the settlers in the outpost. Soldiers later refused to assist a Haaretz crew attacked by the settlers after arriving at the village to report on the takeover.
On Thursday, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee called the settlers who had besieged houses in Qusra "Israeli terrorists," saying the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem had asked Israeli security forces to remove them.
Israel later deployed an IDF battalion in the village, taking over several houses and removing the settlers.
